Poison Dart Frog

The Poison Dart Frog also known as the poison arrow frog has been used by the native people of Central and South America to get toxic secretions from these frogs to tip their blow darts and arrow with. That is how these frogs got their name.

The Poison Dart Frog although there are many different variations of it can be easily recognized because of it's bright colors. Like a lot of other poisonous creatures they use their bright vivid color to warn any possible predator away!
